Amir Isaiah, J.D. LL.M

Director, Receivership and Fiduciary Services

Amir Isaiah joined Kaufman, Rossin & Co. in 2009, and serves as Director of Receivership and Fiduciary Services. He was most recently a consultant with a Florida receivership firm, where he served as court-appointed receiver in a variety of matters. He was also involved in fraud investigations of businesses in various industries and consulted on business interruption insurance claims and reconstruction of accounting records for domestic and international businesses. In addition, he frequently advised clients on tax matters, estate planning, and real estate transactions.

Amir has extensive experience participating in federal and state government investigations by the FBI, SEC, CFTC, NFA, FTC, FDIC, IRS, U.S. Dept. of Justice, U.S. Attorney, Attorney General of Florida, Florida Department of Insurance, and the Florida Division of Financial Services and has served on numerous occasions as a Guest Speaker/Panelist on the topic of receiverships.

He is the recipient of dual Master of Laws (LL.M.) degrees in Real Property Development and Taxation from the University of Miami School of Law. He earned his law degree from St. Thomas University School of Law and a bachelor's degree in Professional Music from Berklee College of Music.

Amir's professional memberships include the Florida Receiver's Forum, Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, American Inns of Court (Spellman-Hoeveler Chapter), Florida Bar Association, Dade County Bar Association, National Association Of Certified Valuation Analysts, and the following Florida Bar Sections: Tax Law; Real Property, Probate & Trust Law; Bankruptcy Law; International Law; Business Law; Entertainment, Arts & Sports Law. He has served as a panelist and speaker at numerous Florida Bar sanctioned events including the 2009 Community Associations Institute Southeast Florida Trade Show, the 2008 Ralph E. Boyer Institute on Real Property Law, the 2008 Receiver's Forum, and the 2008 Palm Beach County Bar Association Annual Community Association Law Seminar
